Prof. Sir David King

Fr. UK GOVERNMENT’S CHIEF SCIENTIFIC ADVISOR | CABINET OFFICE

Professor Sir David King is the former UK Government Chief Scientific Adviser, a role he held from 2000 to 2007, where he played a central role in shaping UK climate and energy policy, including the creation of the £1 billion Energy Technologies Institute. He later served as the UK Foreign Secretary’s Special Representative on Climate Change and remains one of the UK’s most influential voices on climate action and climate repair.
Dr. Gillian Tett

Dr Gillian Tett is Chair of the Editorial Board and Editor at Large USA at the Financial Times, where she writes widely read columns on economics, finance, politics, and society. Trained as a social anthropologist at the University of Cambridge, she is known for predicting the 2008 financial crisis and for her award-winning books including Fool’s Gold, The Silo Effect, and AnthroVision.
Lord Martin Rees

MEMBER OF THE HOUSE OF LORDS
Lord Martin Rees is co-founder of the Centre for the Study of Existential Risk at the University of Cambridge and a member of the House of Lords, where he contributes to debates on science, technology, and global risk. He is a former President of the Royal Society. He is also Astronomer Royal, Emeritus Professor of Cosmology and Astrophysics at the University of Cambridge, and a Fellow of Trinity College.

Sir Tony Juniper is one of the UK’s leading environmentalists, a best selling author, and a global authority on nature and sustainability. He is Chair of Natural England, a former senior leader at WWF UK, and has advised at the highest levels on environmental policy and practice, including His Majesty King Charles III.
Dr. Louise Drake

Dr Louise Drake is Programme Director at the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, where she leads postgraduate education and conducts research on leadership capabilities, sustainability, and systems change. Her work focuses on equipping current and future leaders to navigate complex global challenges.
Prof. Mercyn King

Mervyn King is a former Judge of the Supreme Court of South Africa and one of the world’s leading authorities on corporate governance and sustainability. He chaired the landmark King Reports on Corporate Governance, served as Chair Emeritus of the International Integrated Reporting Council and the Global Reporting Initiative, and has advised governments, companies, and international institutions in over 60 countries.
Dr. Mandeep Rai

Dr Mandeep Rai is a global leader on values and the author of The Values Compass, recognised in the Thinkers50 Class of 2021. With experience spanning journalism at the BBC and Reuters, work with the UN and European Commission, and advisory roles to organisations worldwide, she explores how values shape decision-making, leadership, and ESG practices across cultures.
Dr. Neal Stott

Neil is Co-Director of the Cambridge Centre for Social Innovation and Faculty in Management Practice at Cambridge Judge Business School. He brings extensive experience in social innovation and community entrepreneurship, including 15 years as Chief Executive of one of the UK’s largest development trusts.
Sir Ronald Cohen

PHILANTROPIST & IMPACT INVESTOR
Sir Ronald Cohen is a pioneering philanthropist and investor widely regarded as the father of British venture capital and global impact investing. Knighted in 2001, he has played a central role in shaping the UK’s social investment ecosystem, including chairing the UK Social Investment Task Force and the G8 Social Impact Investment Taskforce, and co founding institutions such as Social Finance UK and Big Society Capital.
